[News] - Can those augmented cockroaches really spy on me?
Hi there, I’ve read that there is a way to turn an ordinary cockroach into a spy bug. Is it real?
Hello Evans!
You know, it may sound fun and ridiculous, but we at Jammer-Store are pretty sure that it can be. Scientist from iBionics created a way to control a cockroach with radio signals. They have chosen cockroaches because they are small, endurable and they can crawl almost everywhere. Another reason is that that those bugs can survive really severe weather conditions such as heat, cold and extreme radiation. Those scientists claim that their invention is to be used for rescue operations to help extraction teams look for the survivors in the wreckage. It all works that way: you will need to attach the chip with a radio receiver to a cockroach’s back and attach the wires to right and left antennas of the bug. In that case the signals will be transmitted directly to the bug’s antennas. So, when the signals hit the right antenna the bug thinks that there is an obstacle in the right and tries to outflank it on the left. The same thing will be with left antenna. The only thing you’ll need to do for turning this bug into a spy bug is attaching a camera on its back for a real time video streaming. In that case we will have remote controlled drone, but it is alive and transparent. There is a way of protection though. You may try to use the remote control jamming device to make sure that no cockroaches are spying on you. That device will jam the controlling signals and the bug will be out of control. Thank you for your question. I hope I’ve managed to help! |
