[News] - Can RCJ40-D block Futaba FASST RC?
Hi there! Can your RCJ40-D desktop jammer block the Futaba FASST radio control which is 2.4ghz? Many thanks in advance!
Hello, Andrew!
That Futaba's FASST (Futaba Advanced Spread Spectrum Technology) radio control series are used for various planes and boats models most frequently. You can also control toy cars with it. Theoretically that device consists of a transmitter and a receiver. While you are holding the transmitter in your hands, the receiver is to be mounted on the model you want to control. What we at Jammer-Store like in that device is its ability to work with both electro and gasoline planes and boats. It is universal and has the technology that protects the device from RF interference. That particular FASST technology is rather convenient because thanks to it you are able not only to shift between different channels within 2.4 GHz frequency, the device will do it itself. It will choose the best channel itself and in avoid any interference due to no signal conflict. But our RCJ40-D will still be able to jam it. FASST system is able to avoid interference by shifting frequencies in the main 2.4 GHz spectrum, but if the whole 2.4 GHz frequency will be jammed – it won't be able to transmit signals. The jammer works as a powerful transmitter and it fills the 2.4 GHz frequency with a cloud of “empty” signals which are interfering with the signals that Futaba's FASST RC tries to send. But we suppose that it will be far more convenient to use a portable 2.4 GHz signal blocker to jam those radio controls. You can use that portable jamming device wherever you like, because the device has a high capacity battery so you'll be no longer tied to the wall adapter. Thanks for your question, I hope I've managed to help. |
